Laura counsels individuals ages 13+ with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship troubles, and identity. Laura worked at a treatment program for teenage girls during her master’s program where she grew a particular passion for helping that clientele. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and enjoys integrating this technique with traditional talk therapy.

Biography
Laura received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Evangel University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. She is a Kansas City native and loves calling KC “home.” Laura serves alongside her husband at their church in the student ministry and worship team. In their free time, Laura and her husband enjoy going to coffee shops and taking their dog to the park.
